Mr. Adeyemi Shoroye brings over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas exploration industry. His career began immediately after NYSC as a Seismologist with Geosource (Petty-Ray Geophysical), which later became Halliburton Geophysical Services. In 1994, he transitioned to Western Geophysical (then part of Western Atlas), processing seismic data in both onshore and deepwater terrains of the Niger Delta. Following the 2001 merger of Western Geophysical and Geco-Prakla into WesternGeco, a Schlumberger company, Adeyemi continued as a Senior Seismic Engineer. He was promoted to Technical Sales Manager for Nigeria and the Gulf of Guinea, covering countries including Benin, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Liberia, Guinea, and Equatorial Guinea. In 2006, he played a pivotal role in establishing a joint venture between Schlumberger and IDSL (NNPC’s exploration division), forming the Seismic Processing Alliance. Under his leadership, the JV captured over 60% of Nigeria’s seismic processing market between 2007 and 2010. In 2011, he joined Asharami Energy Ltd (a Sahara Group company) as a Senior Geophysicist. He led a successful drilling campaign that doubled field reserves and achieved the company's first oil production test with flows of up to 10,000 bbl/day. He currently consults with Qube Seismic Technologies Ltd and co-founded Geomax Energy Resources Ltd, an upstream oil and gas production company. Adeyemi holds a B.Sc. in Geology from Obafemi Awolowo University and an MBA in General Management from the University of South Wales, UK. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Scrum Master (ASM®), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP®), and Agile Scrum Foundation (ASF®). He is an active member of NAPE and EAGE and has presented several industry papers at professional conferences.
